This week I had the pleasure of interviewing artist Marty Knop. About a year ago he saw a fashion show that had a lot of geometric design that inspired his geometric pieces. The computing and processing of the shapes intrigued him. He loves math which made him want to enroll in graphic programs. He also expressed his love to collaborate with people. He enjoys making apps for other people to use and help them create their own artwork. Right now he is working on networking and helping others construct their artwork. He expressed that their are lots of trade offs when you collaborate with others. He really likes to jump into things and see what happens because usually something amazing and unexpected happens. One down fall when jumping into things is there may be lots of frustration however he advised to be patient because things will happen. Marty is a true inspiration and I love his enthusiasm for math and art!
